KRISPY KREME DELIVERS THE D’OHNUT
When managing Brand Partnerships for The Simpsons in Australia the holy grail was always creating the official Homer Simpson D’ohnut. As an icon part of pop culture I knew that it would only serve to elevate the brand even further with Aussies across the nation.
The obvious partner was Krispy Kreme (another iconic brand) so like Homer at Moe’s Tavern, I went for it.
Naturally, Krispy Kreme saw the opportunity and set about creating a recipe as I worked closely with the team at Fox and Matt Groening to design a bespoke key visual for the campaign.
Once the pieces were in place I turned focus to ensuring the partnership got the right exposure, working with Krispy Kreme to secure a nationwide 7-Eleven retail campaign with unique POS that made the D’ohnut unmissable.
Coupled with a significant social and digital campaign The Simpsons D’ohnut is still Kripsy Kreme’s best selling donut ever in Australia
